Workplace Pod Installation Kit
As the Graphic Designer at MG Marketing, I designed a comprehensive, cohesive installation kit engineered to support field installers while welcoming clients to their new space.
THE FULL KIT
From heavy-duty logistics packaging to user-facing touchpoints, I developed a comprehensive kit adaptable across a single product line of 9 distinct products, effectively bridging the gap between field assembly and high-end workplace design. Every component was systematically engineered to ensure the installation process is foolproof, the branding is seamless, and the final handoff delivers a premium, cohesive brand experience across all 9 product models.
The Envelope
The Function: A rugged structural envelope designed to keep all critical handoff materials, hardware packets, and documentation organized on active, chaotic job sites.
The Design: Clean, bold typography and high-contrast layout elements ensure the packet is instantly identifiable amidst tools and construction debris.
Bilingual Install Checklist
The Function: A step-by-step bifold checklist used by field teams to verify structural integrity, acoustic seals, and electrical functionality before final sign-off.
The Design: Engineered with a parallel English and Spanish layout. I structured the information architecture using clear visual grouping, checkboxes, and intuitive iconography so cross-functional installation teams can complete quality control quickly and accurately.
User Handoff Elements (Door Hang Tag & Desk Sticker)
The Function: The final user-facing touchpoints deployed by the installer immediately following a successful quality check.
The Design:
"Ready for Focus" Door Hang Tag: Placed directly on the pod handle to serve as the visual "reveal." It features welcoming typography signaling to the office that the pod is officially inspected and ready for use.
Desktop Quick-Start Sticker: A durable, low-residue sticker applied straight to the integrated desk surface. It provides the user with an instant, minimalist graphic guide on how to operate the pod’s features (lighting, ventilation, and power connectivity) the moment they sit down.
