BACK TO THE FUTURE DRAWING
For Fan Expo Dallas 2025, I created an intricate, mixed-media tribute to Back to the Future using a blend of graphite pencil and alcohol markers. This piece was a deeply personal passion project, designed specifically to be signed by the cast and later gifted to my mother, as it is her favorite film. The final artwork became a historic piece of memorabilia, bearing the signatures of Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Thomas F. Wilson, Frances Lee McCain, and Donald Fullilove. To show my appreciation, I produced high-quality prints of the drawing to gift to each cast member, resulting in a rare, full-circle moment where the legends of the franchise celebrated my work.
The Highlight
The highlight of the experience was my interaction with Christopher Lloyd, which I was fortunate enough to capture in photos. After the actors signed the original drawing, I would present them with their own prints of the piece. In an incredible turn of events, Christopher Lloyd and Frances Lee McCain were so impressed with the artwork that they insisted I sign the prints for them. Having a photo of myself signing my own work for "Doc Brown" himself remains one of the most surreal and rewarding milestones of my artistic career.
